How I Failed Five Today

 I should have stopped him from watching "Minecraft" videos because he saw one that scared him. This would have been easier for me to do if he wasn't wearing ear phones, but it won't happen again.

How I Failed Five Today

Said I would come back and lay down after I dried my hair, and I didn't. And then when he came back out to look for me, Dad told him I had gone to get Three. But when he saw the car lights come down the driveway, he waited, and I still didn't go in to see him.

(Because this was a dual-parent failure, the Captain agreed to let him snuggle in the big bed.)
